Eastern House Xi'an Bell Tower & South Gate

Nice spacious rooms. Breakfast was excellent in terms of variety and taste, coffee was nice. My family all loved staying at Eastern House. It is one of our favourite hotels during our 2 weeks China trip. Restaurant on 3rd floor offers nice reasonably priced lunch of local Xi An dishes. Location was central and very convenient. Love the bottled water fridges next to the lifts where guests can help themselves to as much water as they need.

Stayed here for a week. Great hotel, spacious room with excellent services from all the staffs although they speak very little English, especially the breakfast ladies. Knowing the breakfast time was ending and we have a toddler, they brought us extra food to pack on the go! (we got the name of the staff in writing shown on photo but unable to pronounce it). This small gesture created a warm atmosphere. The breakfast spread itself was good, intercontinental with minor change in the menu daily. The ladies managing the laundry room were very helpful too with after hour services. New bottled of water were provided in the room daily and free to take near the elevator as well. Its one of the most generous hotels we ever came across! There are plenty of shops and eateries around the hotel. Its within walking distance to Bell tower and the big malls. We have plans to visit Xi An again as we missed some of the activities that we wanted to do so Eastern House gonna be our home again when we back!

I have traveled to many countries, so I have a feeling for which hotels are good. This hotel is a rare good hotel. All the staff are willing to help. It is located in the ancient castle of Xi'an, near the south gate. It takes about 10 minutes by walk from Zhonglou(Bell tower) Station on Subway Line 2. About 10 minutes walk to many tourist attractions. Many restaurants and supermarkets around. It is very quiet at night, so good place to sleep well. Highly recommended, you won't regret it.

The hotel is amazing! The room was extremely clean and big with all the comforts you may ask. The position is quite smart as it is not in the chaotic centre but enough close to visit the area of the Muslim quartier by walking. Breakfast was excellent and they also offer a complimentary nice afternoon tea every day with a lot of sweets and fruits! Definitely a great stay.

The room was of a good size, very comfortable and everything was very clean, and it had all the items we needed. The hotel premise looks new and clean. The staff is very courteous and very attentive. Housing keeping was good and responsive.The hotel stationed 2 concierges near the reception desk and they are super helpful. One of them, Xiao Xiang helped me to set up my Meituan and this enable me to order outside food delivery anytime which was awesome, so convenient. The location is convenient, near the Bell and Drum towers (5 mins walk) and other attractions.
